No, this works only because so many people today are dumb as fuck. Same goes for all the live service games, mobile games or microtransactions bullshit.
I'm always willing to support a creator as long as I get some actual content for my money. Doesn't matter if it's videos or games, no matter if porn or something else. But like I said, there are way too many stupid people out there that pay money for almost nothing. Hell, I bet even YouTubers with a patreon could just make one video per month with them just saying "thanks for the money, dipshits" and people would still pay.
Seriously, would anybody still go to cinema or buy movies on disc if you would just get a title card, a 5 second scene and an end card? I'm actually surprised the movie industry is the only one that didn't try yet to fuck their costumers.

Woah woah woah! Don't give them any ideas! They tried that with those disposable dvds awhile back that turned red rendering them unable to be read.

But for long animations, nagooanimation (I may have spelled their name wrong), bulgingsenpai, nyl, and animo are the few off the top of my head that do long animations with quality, Sure, there are others but they vary depending on personal preference like opimund, 21region and other creators still in source. I bet we all would love long animations but with how time constraining it is and a person usually rendering all that on one or two GPU's rather then a farm game and film industries have in house, no wonder many stick to loops. That and horny is no doubt like a drug people want satisfied. Hence, the rate of videos with it's monthly charges and rates. If 3d porn was easy to make like drag and drop or simplifying the hell out of it where you just worry about the key frames and everything else is taken care of, more people would do it and make the market saturated to oblivion.
