I really love empress games, but after discipline and starless, it's become shorter and shorter, also they had a mobile online game, but also closed because of low income.

So back on topic, MC s in empress games have become worse. They are very far from BB Minase, who wasn't just a walking toilet(actually no toilet at all). And it hurts those games. BB is unmatched.

For the people asking about the MTL "quality" (feels weird to talk about it as such, like ranking saltine crackers on a scale of blandness), it's acceptable. You can definitely tell it's MTL, but it's not horrifically bad.
Some parts definitely do not sound like human speech and there's the usual bit of MTL weirdness, but it's also not constantly describing a vag as "carburetor." So...6/10? You can determine enough from the MTL to figure out what's being said whenever it has a stroke.

Yes, it was made by Active, Discipline was also made by Active.
However Active ceased operations in 2006, Empress is a offshoot from Active as VNDB states and their first time, Cleavage, was released in 2005, in fact Sei Shoujo is listed as the Scenario creator, same in Starless and Sleepless so ... yes, its the same people even if Active wasnt entirely focused on a specific fetish but its kinda obvious the staff that worked on Bible Black and Discipline come to form Empress.
